A practical workshop aimed at line managers who are on the front line when it comes to handling disciplinary issues. Topics covered include a brief introduction to unfair dismissal law, how to issue a fair warning, the ACAS Code, avoiding allegations of bullying, and how to deal with problem cases such as employees who go “off sick” when faced with disciplinary proceedings.
This course will help you to:-
- Carry out a comprehensive disciplinary investigation and conduct a fair hearing
- Identify and address common problems areas;
- Understand the implications of not following a fair process and how liability for claims is assessed;
- Understand when a formal process may not be required and how to hold a “protected” conversation.
Price is for 15 delegates, extra delegates can be added at £30 per delegate, with a maximum of 25 delegates per course
