Topics covered include identifying a redundancy situation, how to approach a fair selection process, what needs to be considered in terms of re-deployment, and collective consultation.

• Understand the implications of not following a fair process and how liability for claims is assessed;
• Deal with common problem areas such as what alternate vacancies should be offered, when collective consultation is triggered and how to identify fair selection criteria.
